As CBS2 has been reporting, multiple people have been arrested in the Caldwell School District for abuse against children, including Kerry Black, a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School.

Court documents obtained by CBS2 detail the allegations against Black, totaling 11 counts of Injury to Children, a Misdemeanor in Idaho.

The documents detail Black's abuse against her students as hitting, spanking, and forcefully turning their heads. The documents say several aides assigned to the classroom between January 17th and February 10th said they saw the abuse.

The court documents show all the children Black's accused of abusing were between three and four years old and in her Special Education class. The criminal complaint outlines each of the 11 counts of injury to a child including hitting and grabbing children by their head, mouth, and chin.

A classroom assistant reported Black to the school Principal, who contacted the School Resource Officer. The synopsis of the case written by the investigating officer details interviews with different aides that worked with Black in the classroom. One aide reported working with Black for approximately four years, and Black has been physical with the kids for the last two years.

One aide said that a lot of things from Black were "verbal in tone" until she spanked a child. The aide stated she was "thrown for a loop." When asked by the detective on a scale of one to 10 how hard the spanking was, the aid said a four compared to the eight she got from her father as a child.

This is a developing story and we will continue to keep it updated.
