Rey Mysterio battled Eddie Guerrero in a ladder match for the custody of his son in 2005. This match has been on the minds of fans since the love triangle between Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio began. There has been a lot of discourse on social media over such a match taking place. However, it seems that the Women’s World Champion is not interested in such a stipulation.

Speaking on The Big Show with Rusic & Rose, Morgan was asked if there would ever be a match for the custody of Mysterio. The 30-year-old claimed that she wanted to win over the Latino Superstar in an old-fashioned way. She didn’t want to win him in a match. 

Morgan wanted Mysterio to see what she brought to the table because she claimed that she perfectly saw what Dom brought to the table. The Women’s World Champion clearly stands by this statement. Despite Ripley making her return to WWE, the Queen of Extreme has not stopped flirting and making advancements towards the former NXT North American Champion.

I want to win Dominik the ol’ fashioned way. I don’t want to win him in a match. I want him to see what I bring to the table because I see so clearly what he brings to the table.

Mysterio took on Jey Uso on the latest episode of Raw to defend his Mami’s honor. During the match, Morgan came out to cheer on Dom, who ended up falling on top of her. The former Money in the Bank winner rolled over and pinned him to the ground. This time, however, Rhea Ripley was there to interfere in their moment and separate the two.

The Eradicator will finally get her chance to win back her Women’s World Championship from the 30-year-old at SummerSlam 2024. Ripley has promised that not only would she back the title, but that she would end Morgan’s career. Prior to their match, the defending champion sent out a message to ‘Dirty’ Dom. Speaking on the Good Karma Wrestling podcast, she revealed that she wanted Mysterio to be there during her match. 

Liv Morgan hoped that Mysterio would be there to support her and that he would see what she sees in him. The Women’s World Champion claimed that he had unlimited potential, a lot of which is still untapped. She even went so far as to say that he would soon be the biggest star in the company.

Morgan said that she had a lot of faith and belief in Dominik Mysterio. Furthermore, she loved being in his presence as he was “such a specimen of a man.” She said that she would be happy if she was able to do only a little bit of what he does for her.
